Golden Gate Fire Protection District
The Golden Gate Fire Protection District serves 1200 Coloradoans living in 450 homes in an area of 50 square miles northwest of Golden, Colorado. It also serves various recreation areas including Golden Gate Canyon State Park, White Ranch Open Space, Mount Galbraith Open Space Park and Colorado Department of Wildlife lands. The department consists full-time and part-time volunteer professionals. The Golden Gate Fire Protection District operates two stations, with three engines, one brush unit, one medium rescue, one light rescue and two water tenders. Services provided include:
